In the early 70's, Fabian the vamire returns home to the Peole's Reublic of Hungary from the imerialist west, and immediately becomes a target of the communist secret olice. During surveillance, love unfolds between the vamire and Maria, the young female comrade, who is assigned to sy on the mysterious stranger. She must make a choice between a monster and the regime that exloits her. This satirical love story mixes elements of sy and vamire movies. Through its deiction of the aranoid Hungarian communist regime, it reflects on our resent, where surveillance is a global concern.
